(August 4, 2023) Due to an unplanned water main break by a third party, there is water loss and low pressure in Downtown Halifax. Crews are on-site undertaking emergency repairs. Customers in this area may experience low water pressure or a temporary loss of water service. No estimate of service restoration time. This repair work is taking place within an existing work area. Please follow any existing safety signage. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear.
