Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Chisholm Avenue – Water Main Repair
(December 25, 2021) Halifax Water crews are on-site undertaking an emergency water main repair near 6641 Chisholm Avenue, Halifax. Water service will be temporarily shut down on Chisholm Avenue between Micmac Street and Connaught Avenue. No estimate of service restoration time. Chisholm Avenue is closed in this area. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
