Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Quinpool Road – Water Valve Replacement
(April 27, 2023) Until 4:00 PM today, Halifax Water crews will be on-site undertaking a water valve replacement near 6617 Quinpool Road, Halifax. Quinpool Road (outbound) is reduced to a single lane near this work. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
