Help RCMP locate missing inflatable boats

The RCMP is appealing to the public for information on boats and motors missing from the Head of Saint Margarets Bay. There have been eight reported incidents between October 3 and October 21.

Between September 29 and October 10, a dark green 1990 Honda​ five horsepower​ four-stroke motor​ went missing from a sailboat that was docked behind a home on Todds Island Rd.​

Between October 7 and October 10, a yellow 9-foot-6 Seabright boat with aluminum floor and a six horsepower Tohatsu outboard motor went missing from a dock behind a home on Masons Point Rd.

Between October 7 and October 14, a Seabright inflatable boat went missing from a dock in the back yard of a residence on Viewmount Dr. The boat is 7-feet long, grey and yellow in color and has a Hull Identification number of YHL55579B616.

Between October 9 and October 10, a Zodiac dinghy and outboard motor went missing from a dock behind a home on Old Schooner Dr.

Between October 12 and October 21, a grey 8-foot, 2016 AB inflatable boat with an aluminum floor and a six horsepower Suzuki motor went missing from a dock behind a residence on Sunnywood Dr.

Between October 15 and October 16, a 9-foot-6 Seabright inflatable boat, white with yellow and blue trim, went missing from a dock in the backyard of a​ home on Saint Margarets Bay Rd. It has a​ number of white patches on the hull.

RCMP is reminding boat owners to take extra precaution in securing their property and to report any suspicious activity to their local police.
