This fire involved a seasonal cottage. There were no injuries and no fatalities.

The ignition source was undetermined. The area of origin was determined to be four separate areas.

The cause of this fire is classified as INCENDIARY.

Help the RCMP solve a suspected arson

Halifax District RCMP is asking for the public’s help to solve a suspected arson of a home in Hubbards.

On January 6, at approximately 6:35 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a structure fire on Conrad Rd. The investigation determined that the fire was suspicious in nature. Hubbards District Fire Department and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency attended and extinguished the fire. No one was injured as a result of the fire.

The investigation is ongoing.
