Help the RCMP solve an arson

Halifax District RCMP is asking for the public’s help to solve an arson that occurred in Beaver Bank on January 7.

At 10:20 p.m., Halifax District RCMP and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency responded to a home on Danny Dr. after an incendiary device was thrown at the home.

Preliminary investigation determined that two suspects fled from the scene, got into a dark vehicle and drove away.​ ​

Police searched for the suspects with assistance from Halifax Regional Police K9 Unit but they were not located.

No one was injured as a result of the fire and the home sustained minimal damage.

The investigation is ongoing and led by the RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
