Hollis Street – Night Construction

Monday, Aug. 31, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that there will be overnight work this week on Hollis Street in Halifax as crews make adjustments to a manhole and adjoining street infrastructure in the area.

This work will begin tonight at 7 p.m. between Cogswell Street and Sackville Street, and will continue until about 6 a.m. tomorrow. Crews will work the same hours each night, wrapping up at 6 a.m. on the morning of Friday, Sept. 4.

There will be stop-and-go traffic while this work is underway. Motorists should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to use alternative routes if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
