Home and car damaged after shooting

The HRP/RCMP Guns and Gangs Unit of the Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a shooting that occurred in North Preston.

At approximately 1:09 a.m. December 25, Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of a shooting that had occurred on Cain St. in North Preston. Police found a residence and a nearby parked automobile were damaged. Nobody was injured in the incident.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the HRP/RCMP Guns and Gangs Unit of the Criminal Investigation Division. The investigation has been assisted by Halifax District RCMP, Halifax Regional Police and RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
