How Do You Like These POMs?

Ahh get your mind outta the gutter folks, I’m referring to my new POM Wonderful apron!! 🙂 Isn’t it cute?! Whoever came up with the design is brilliant!   I won this way back in December and wondered if it would ever get to me,  all the way from California.

Of course you know that I had to try it out ASAP.   I was getting Supper on when hubby came home and made some pretty suggestive remarks. He may have tried to touch the POMs too.  Apparently he’s a fan! hehe  :-P

Right, Supper….
An easy peasy meal ce soir. Spaghetti.  Please excuse the poor quality of the pictures, apparently I should learn how to use the new camera before attempting to food blog.

Brown lean ground beef in a frying pan.  Mince garlic and add to pan.

Add pre-chopped veggies to pan and let cook over medium heat.  I used onions, mushrooms and a mix of bell peppers.

Once cooked mix in your favourite pasta sauce and let warm. My fav is PC Blue Menu Tomato & Basil.  It’s got 5g of fibre per 1/2 cup and is low sodium with only 270mg/serving.

Serve over top of spaghetti noodles for quick, healthy & tasty meal!

I sprinkled a little three-blend cheese for added yumminess.

So bloggies, how was your day? Mine was alright, got in late so I didn’t get out for a run.  It’s okay, I managed to re-arrange the schedule a bit and will do the 4K on Friday evening. Promise! 

Tomorrow I’m going on a huge grocery shopping expedition.  I’ve gotten into the habit of going once a week but we’re out of pretty much everything so it’s time for a big load. My mission is to find the Liberte Greek Yogourt and stock up.  Is it sad that this excites me? LOL.
