HRP and GSR actively searching for missing person in Dalhousie University area (Posted 10pm, May 15)

Halifax Regional Police and Halifax Ground Search and Rescue are currently conducting a search for a missing person in the Dalhousie University area on the Halifax peninsula.

Crews are looking for missing person Steve Corkum who was reported missing from a Halifax hospital yesterday. Steve is described as a white man, 5’9″, 190lbs with thinning dark hair and dark brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black stretchy pajama pants, a dark grey pullover with hood, dark grey golf shirt and reebok brief style underwear.

Ground Search and Rescue personnel will be in the area on foot, bicycles and vehicles and will be using unmanned aerial drones to search the area

Police request that anyone with information on Steve Corkum’s whereabouts to call Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020 or their local law enforcement agency
