HRP investigate early morning stabbing

Just before 4 a.m. this morning, Central Division officers were called to the 2300 block of Gottingen Street in relation to a stabbing. 

 

Upon arrival, officers located a 24-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to his torso. Responding officers provided first aid at the scene before the man was transported to hospital by EHS. The injury does not appear to be life threatening at this time. 

 

This incident remains under investigation. Information available at this time indicates that the victim was engaged in a verbal exchange with two males before he was stabbed. Police are attempting to determine the location of the incident as well as suspect descriptions.
