HRP investigate fatal pedestrian collision

At 2:55 am Halifax Regional Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at Queen Street near Green Street in Halifax. Responding officers located a single vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. The male driver of the vehicle was taken into custody. The investigation is in the early stages at this time and investigators are currently on scene.

Traffic on Queen Street is shut down from Kent Street to Victoria Road.
