At 11:24 a.m. patrol members located a man matching the description of the suspect at the rear of the building and arrested him without incident. The 24-year old suspect was found to be in possession of stolen property as well as a quantity of marijuana and a white substance believed to be cocaine. The investigation led officers to identify and locate the victim, a 19-year-old man who was not injured in the assault and had returned to his Cole Harbour residence. The stolen property was returned to the victim; however, he is currently not cooperating with the investigation.

The suspect has been charged with possession of marijuana and  cocaine. He was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth court at a later date. The investigation into the robbery is ongoing.
