RCMP Charge Two Men with Trafficking – Eastern Passage

Police seized Dilaudid, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash and charged two men with drug trafficking after executing search warrants at two residences in Eastern Passage.

On March 13, 2016, investigators in the Halifax Drug Unit and General Investigations Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigations Division worked with Cole Harbour RCMP and Halifax Police Dog Services to execute search warrants at two residences on Cow Bay Rd. in Eastern Passage. Police seized Dilaudid, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash from the homes.

Forty-five-year-old David Beaton was charged with trafficking cocaine and prescription pills and 34-year-old Ryan Lafitte was charged with trafficking cocaine.

Both men appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court on March 14, 2016.
