At approximately 2:05 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at the C Shop located at 6141 Young St in Halifax. On arrival it was determined that a man had entered the store and demanded money from the cashier. A quantity of money was turned over to the man before he fled the area toward Young St. There was no weapon seen or indicated in this robbery and no injuries to the cashier. The suspect is described as: a white man, in his 30’s, scruffy facial hair, wearing a puffy dark colored jacket, a dark colored touque, blue jeans and black shoes. Members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division will be continuing the investigation. Part of that investigation will be to determine if this robbery is linked to another robbery that occurred overnight at the Shell Gas Station located at 2616 Robie Street in Halifax.
