HRP investigate robbery in Halifax

At 11:36 pm, HRP off­icers responded to a street level robbery in the 2000 block of Brunswick Street. The 31-year old male victim was walking on Brunswick Street when he was attacked from behind by 3 males who demanded his cell phone. The vi­ctim was thrown to the ground and was pu­nched and kicked whi­le the suspects repe­atedly demanded his cell phone. The susp­ect’s did not get vi­ctims cell phone and fled the area when passersby approached to help. The victim was transported to the QE2 hospital with minor lacerations to his face. The mat­ter is still under investigation.

 

The suspects were de­scribed as 3 males, 2 of which Caucasian and were wearing ho­oded sweat shirts-1 grey and 1 red. No description given for the third male.
