At 11:36 pm, HRP officers responded to a street level robbery in the 2000 block of Brunswick Street. The 31-year old male victim was walking on Brunswick Street when he was attacked from behind by 3 males who demanded his cell phone. The victim was thrown to the ground and was punched and kicked while the suspects repeatedly demanded his cell phone. The suspect’s did not get victims cell phone and fled the area when passersby approached to help. The victim was transported to the QE2 hospital with minor lacerations to his face. The matter is still under investigation.
The suspects were described as 3 males, 2 of which Caucasian and were wearing hooded sweat shirts-1 grey and 1 red. No description given for the third male.
