HRP patrol members responded to an injury motor vehicle accident at 830am this morning. A lone adult male driver of an truck was driving out bound on the Bedford Hwy when he lost control of his vehicle crashing in to a pole in the 200 block of the Bedford Hwy.
Police and EHS attended the scene where the cause of the accident was not able to be determined at that time. The driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries and is currently in hospital.
Charges are expected to be laid under the motor vehicle act. The incident is still under investigation.
