HRP Lay Drug Charges after Traffic Stop – Halifax

Three men faces charges in connection with a traffic stop yesterday afternoon in Halifax. On March 22 at approximately 1:30 p.m., members of the Special Enforcement Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division conducted a traffic stop in the 0-100 block of Walter Havill Drive. With the assistance of patrol members, a large quantity of cocaine, a quantity of cannabis resin and cell phones were located and the driver and two passengers were taken into custody. As a result of the traffic stop, 30-year-old Anthony Douglas Roberts of Halifax, 23-year-old Jasmin Jasco Demirovic of Burnaby, British Columbia, and 29-year-old Tyler Bradley Richards of Dartmouth all faces charges of trafficking in cocaine.  Demirovic has also been charged with two counts of breach of probation. Richards has also been charged with possession of cannabis resin and one count of breach of probation. All three men and are scheduled to appear in Halifax court today.
