Halifax Regional Police were on-scene at a single vehicle motor vehicle crash at Highway 102 Exit 2 onto Kearney lake Road, outbound on February 19th.  As a result of the crash a 76 year old man has been transported to hospital by EHS paramedics with what are believed to be life threatening injuries.  Halifax Regional Police Forensic Identification members and Accident Reconstruction Investigators have been called to the scene.  As police continue to investigate this crash, Exit 2 onto Kearney Lake Rd from Highway 102 has been closed to traffic.  There is currently no estimate as to when Exit 2 will be reopened.
