HRP presents last of crime prevention series

Halifax Regional Police has launched a three-part crime prevention series during the month of June.

The series provides simple steps you can take to reduce your risk of being a victim of crime and improve the quality-of-life in your neighbourhood.

The sessions cover topics from personal safety to common community issues. They are held from 7-9 p.m. at the Canada Games Centre, Board Room 186, 26 Thomas Raddall Drive.

The next session is being held on June 22 and it will address neighbourhood nuisances:

– Timely traffic tips
– Common By-Law issues
– HRM Good Neighbours /Great Neighbourhoods initiative

There is no charge to attend the sessions but registration is recommended as space is limited. To register, call 490-5200 or send an email to HRMPublicSafety@halifax.ca indicating which session(s) you plan to attend and the number of people who will be attending.
