I’m Hungry: Campfire Style

What’s summer without a good campfire on the beach with family and friends? We know it’s hard to beat the sweet, gooey taste of a perfectly roasted marshmallow but here’s a few other fun recipes to try next time you’re kicking back by the fire:

Campfire Quesdilas – tortillas, mushrooms, melted cheese.

…yes please!

Campfire Cones – the picture says it all, these look so yummy.

Campfire Pizza – so easy to make and always a hit with the kids.

Nutella S’mores – talk about a gourmet version of a s’more. Can’t wait to try this one!

Bannock – baking bread over a campfire. How cool is that? (scoll down the link page for the receipe)

Orange Cakes – I guess if you eat the orange first, it’ll be a little healthier, but this looks too fun not to try 😉

Roasted Fruit – there’s nothing easier and healthier than skewered fruit over the fire to finish off the evening…but if you want to be a little more adventurous, check out these other fruit inspired campfire recipes including – Caramel Peaches with Pecans. Yum!

There are so many other great campfire recipes on the KOA website.  They best this is they are all submitted by campers so you know they are tried and true.  Happy Roasting!
