Impaired Driver Motor Vehicle Incident into residence

At 1:37 am, Halifax Regional Police and Cole Harbour RCMP responded to a possible Break & Enter into a residence at Cranberry Crest/Mount Edward Road Dartmouth. Upon police arrival officers located a car crashed into the front of a residence.

The vehicle had driven through the front door causing extensive damage. Police located and arrested a male located outside who was identified as the driver and had signs of impairment. The driver an 18 year old male from Dartmouth, failed both breath test and will be charged with impaired driving offences. The investigation is ongoing at this point. No one was injured inside the residence from the crash
