On May 6, 2018 at 0747 am emergency personal responded to the area of 0-600 block of Herring Cove Rd. Halifax to a report of a single vehicle motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival members located a vehicle that had struck a utility pole and fence. The sole occupant of the vehicle was the driver and was located by the Halifax Regional Police K9 unit a short distance from the accident.
The adult male driver will be appearing in court at a later date to face charges of Impaired Operation of a Motor vehicle section 253(1)(A) & Failing to Remain at the scene of an accident section 252 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
