Intersection of Barrington Street/Sackville Street – Inaccessible to emergency vehicles

Wednesday, September 28, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that the intersection of Barrington Street and Sackville Street will be inaccessible to all vehicular traffic, including emergency vehicles, tonight (Wednesday) overnight from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday, September 29.

Crews will be removing concrete crosswalks as part of the ongoing work on Barrington Street, causing trenches in the street that will not accommodate emergency vehicles. Emergency services have been notified of the closure.
