Excavation is currently underway at 6100 Young St in North End Halifax to make way for the two 17 storey mixed-use buildings. One tower will be rented as apartments and the second will be sold as condo units.

There will be units ranging from studio to three bedroom with penthouse suites available in both buildings. The majority of the parking will be underground, however there will be surface parking available for the commercial spaces on the ground level. There will be a large landscaped podium deck on the South-West side of the building and each tower will have its own amenities such as a gym, yoga studio, private meeting and screening rooms, and wash bay for cars and bikes.

Phase one of the construction is underway and the first building to go up will be the apartment tower on the west side of the lot. The crane is expected to be put up sometime in the next month and phase one is slated to open in Spring 2017. In total there will be 326 units in these two buildings housing many new residents to support North End businesses and services.
