The Katimavik group working in the Spryfield area is hosting an area cleanup on June 5, 2010 from 1 to 3:30 on the Herring Cove Road. They are meeting at the Captain William Spry Centre and working their way from there.
 
Katimavik is a youth project funded by the federal government that brings a group of 10 students to the province to volunteer at non-profit organizations in their designated areas. The group from Spryfield would like to give back to the area that they have worked in for the last nine months by doing this clean up!
