Kings District RCMP charge pair in robbery, North Kentville, N.S.

Kings District RCMP, with assistance from the General Investigation Section and the Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit arrested two Kings County men last evening for Robbery.

On January 15th at approximately 2:30 p.m.

, RCMP responded to a report of a robbery at an apartment on Lamont Road. Preliminary investigation revealed two men entered the residence and pointed a hand gun at the female resident. A struggle ensued with one of the males and the victim was assaulted. The other suspect searched the residence and stole a quantity of marijuana. The two fled the scene. The victim suffered substantive injuries and was treated at hospital.

Anthony George Keddy, 26, is facing several charges including Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Robbery, Firearm offences and Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Court Order. Adam Daniel MacDonald, 19, is facing charges of Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Firearm offences and Robbery. The men are appearing in Windsor Court today.
