Kings District RCMP investigate armed robbery, North Kentville, N.S.

Kings District RCMP are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a local business. Yesterday afternoon at approximately 2:07 p.m., Kings District RCMP and Kentville Police responded to a panic alarm at the Kwik Way Convenience store in North Kentville.

Yesterday afternoon at approximately 2:07 p.m., Kings District RCMP and Kentville Police responded to a panic alarm at the Kwik Way Convenience store in North Kentville.

Upon arrival it was confirmed that the employee working at the location had been robbed. The suspect was armed with a knife and is believed to have fled the scene on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as being a white male, in his 20’s, approximately 5’10 tall, thin build and was wearing dark jeans, black shoes, a grey hooded sweater, a mask covering his face and beige gloves.

The investigation is ongoing.
