Kings District RCMP Seize Cocaine

Kings District RCMP seized 160 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia in Wolfville.

On February 8, 2016, as part of an ongoing investigation, Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, and Kings District RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Wolfville. As a result of the search RCMP seized 160 grams of cocaine, scales, a cell phone, cash and a small amount of marihuana.

Police arrested and charged the homeowner, 32-year-old Justin Balcom, with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. Balcom was held in custody overnight and is scheduled to appear today in Kentville Provincial Court.

The investigation is ongoing.
