IMG_20190425_134201

This recall involves Kingsman Fireplaces and Marquis Collection Skyline II/III series linear gas fireplaces. The fireplaces are zero-clearance and designed for new construction applications.

The following fireplaces are included in the recall:
Fireplace Brand and Series Model Number
Kingsman ZRB Series ZRB46LP
ZRB46LPE
ZRB46N
ZRB46NE
Kingsman VRB Series VRB46LP
VRB46LPE
VRB46N
VRB46NE
Marquis VRB Series MQVRB46NE2

Hazard identified: The affected fireplaces have a gap in the outer cabinet, which may cause nearby wood framing studs to overheat, posing a fire hazard. As of April 15, 2019, the company has received one report of scorched wood framing in Canada, and no reports of injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fireplaces, shut off the gas supply to the fireplace and contact the dealer where the fireplace was purchased to schedule a free repair.

For additional information, consumers may contact Kingsman Fireplaces at 1-855-593-3304, from 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. CT Monday through Friday, or through the Marquis Collection or Kingsman Fireplaces websites.
