At 12:15 p.m. multiple officers from Halifax Regional Police responded to the 0-100 block of Tacoma Drive in Dartmouth to reports of a male swinging a machete towards a vehicle and a person. 

There were no injuries.  Four adults were arrested.  Multiple knives, a canister of bear spray and a small quantity of drugs were seized by police.

All four persons are known to one another and will be making appearances in Provincial Court at later dates.

A 33-year-old male will face charges of possession of a prohibited weapon and breaches of court orders to not possess weapons;

Another 33-year-old male and an 18-year-old female will face charges of possession of cocaine;

And a 29-year-old male will face charges of breaching a court order.
