Lacewood Drive – Natural Gas Pipeline Installation

Monday, July 6, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work will begin tomorrow, July 7, to extend the natural gas main on Lacewood Drive between Gateway Road and Clayton Park Drive. Saw-cutting will begin tomorrow with pipe installation taking place later in the week. At least two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times with an altered centreline in place.

Monday, July 6, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work will begin tomorrow, July 7, to extend the natural gas main on Lacewood Drive between Gateway Road and Clayton Park Drive.

Saw-cutting will begin tomorrow with pipe installation taking place later in the week.

At least two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times with an altered centreline in place.

No work will take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The saw-cutting is expected to take three days to complete. Another public service announcement will be issued later in the week prior to the pipe installation work getting underway. 

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
