Large quantity of construction equipment stolen from work site

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a theft of equipment valued in excess of $ 50,000 from a locked sea-container at a construction site in Middle Sackville.

Sometime between noon on Friday, November 17 and 6 a.m. on Monday, November 20, suspects entered the sea-container and stole the following items:

· 2 GPS heads

· 1 GPS Screen

· 1 Mini-grinder

· 1 Corded Hand Drill

· 1 Chainsaw

· 1 Router Laser

· 1 Router Laser Tri-pod

· 1 Set of 4 Legged Chains

· 1 2000 Watt Honda Generator

Police would like to advise residents to keep this incident in mind should they be considering purchasing construction equipment secondhand or via the internet.The investigation is continuing.
