Law Enforcement Memorial Service to honour officers

Halifax Regional PoliceHalifax Regional Police is holding its 27th Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service this Sunday, October 18, to honour the Canadian officers who lost their lives in the past year.

A parade of officers from across the province will assemble at the Grand Parade at 9 a.m. and make its way down Barrington Street to historic St. Mary’s Basilica at the corner of Spring Garden Road and Barrington Street.

Who: Halifax Regional Police, RCMP, Military Police, Canada Border Services Agency, Corrections Canada, Nova Scotia municipal police departments and representatives of the Nova Scotia Department of Justice.

When: Parade will begin to form at 9am at the Grand Parade and march to St.Mary’s Basilica on Spring Garden Road for the 10:30am service.

Everyone is welcome to help Nova Scotia law enforcement members honour this year’s fallen officers.
