Let’s Decorate: Fab Nursery

It seems that everywhere I go lately I’m meeting new babies.

There seem to be a lot of adorable bundles of joy coming into my life in some way or another. So of course it’s got me thinking about nurseries and all the adorable ways to decorate them.

Baby gear is always getting better…more functional, more stylish, and there are so many choices. When decorating a nursery there are a few things that you absolutely need, but it’s finding the right pieces and mixing them up in the right way that makes for a truly original design. Here are some of my favourite nursery finds.

I am absolutely in love with this rocker from Thornbloom that will look chic in any room once it’s no longer needed in the nursery. To me this says Modern Maritime all over.

Need something a little more cushy and cozy? Try this one from Attica. Can you actually believe this is a glider!? Any nursery would be lucky to have this one.

Dwell Studio has brought a stunning update to mid-century modern in this crib and change table. This would look beautiful paired with greys and multi-coloured accents like this dot fabric to complete the look.

Short on space? ake a look at this cool diaper storage and change station by a company called Nathi. It mounts on the wall then folds up out of the way when you’re done. That’s good design!

I’m also crushing on 2 local artists that I met at an ECMC event; Jill + Jack Paper and neuneu booboo. Their work is gorgeous and original, and I love the idea of supporting local moms to make a new mama & baby nursery look fab.
