Lifting the spirit of Dartmouth

This fall a plain, uninteresting house began showing its true colours almost overnight.

The street-facing living room was being used as a studio by local artist Briana Corr. It was purchased by her and husband Troy Scott after moving to Dartmouth from Salem, Massachusetts.

It was a long time goal of Corr to have her own gallery and working studio and this fall that gallery opened to the public. It has since been selling pieces of Corr’s work, featuring other local artists and participating in local art festivals.

Haligonia reporter Colin Nicolle sat down with Troy Scott to talk a bit about the gallery’s past, present and future.
