Liverpool RCMP are investigating a two-vehicle head on collision that occurred earlier this afternoon.

At approximately 3:15 p.m. today, RCMP, Emergency Health Services (EHS), Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal and the Liverpool Fire Department responded to the crash on Highway 103 at exit 18.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a westbound car made a left hand turn in front of an oncoming / eastbound pick-up truck when the collision occurred.

The lone occupant of the car and two of the three occupants of the pick-up truck were transported to the local hospital by EHS with undetermined injuries. The investigation is continuing and police anticipate charges may be laid.
