Lunenburg County RCMP charge woman with Attempted Murder, New Ross, N.S.

Lunenburg County RCMP are investigating an attempted murder

On Saturday, October 11th, 2014 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Lunenburg District RCMP responded to a complaint of an assault at a home on Leville Road near New Ross.

Preliminary investigation determined that a 31-year-old male had been assaulted and stabbed by a female, who was known to the man. The man was taken to hospital by police, treated and later released.

Kate-Lynn Marie Kaiser, 22-year-old from the New Ross area has been charged with Attempted Murder, and other related weapons and firearms offences. She has been remanded into custody and will appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on Tuesday October 14th, 2014. The investigation is continuing.
