Release:

The Macdonald Bridge will be closed to vehicles overnight tonight (Tuesday, July 7) from 8 p.m. until Wednesday, July 8 at 5:30 a.m. and again Wednesday, July 8 at 9 p.m. until Thursday, July 9 at 5:30 a.m. to facilitate asphalt repairs.

Only during the closure that begins tonight, the pedestrian sidewalk will be closed and cyclists and pedestrians will share the cycling lane. Users are asked to exercise caution.

It is expected that all three lanes on the Macdonald will be open to traffic later Thursday.
