Male robbed in Halifax Shopping Center parking lot

At 8 22 pm on Wednesday, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery in the parking lot of the Halifax Shopping Center. The adult male victim was approached by three males who took his cell phone and other electronic items. One of the suspects produced a knife when he demanded the victim’s property. The victim was not injured during the incident.

A short while later three males were arrested while walking on Bayers Road.  They fit the descriptions provided by the victim of the suspects, and some of the property was recovered as well as a knife.

Two adults and a youth are currently in police custody.  They appear in Halifax Provincial Court today on numerous charges including robbery, possession of property, possession of weapons and wearing a disguise with intent.
