A man and woman face trafficking charges after a drug search by members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division in Dartmouth.

At 1:39 p.m. on July 20, members of the Drug Unit, with assistance from the Quick Response Unit, conducted a traffic stop on Alfred Street in Dartmouth.

They arrested a 30-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, both from Dartmouth, for possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

A short time later, investigators served a search warrant at a residence on Alfred Street in Dartmouth. As a result of the search, investigators seized quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine, hydromorphone, oxycodone and marijuana, as well as a large quantity of cash and drug paraphernalia.
