Man Arrested After Attempted Robbery in Halifax

1200 block of Queen St. At 0040 hours HRP Patrol units responded to a lone male who entered a business and placed a note on the counter indicating that he had a gun and he wanted the money The store employee read the note and ran to the back of the store. The Suspect  emptied a fire canister in the business which he had with him, he ran from the business without any money. K9 unit attended the area and tracked the suspect a short distance away behind an address on Morris St.
A 25 year old male will be facing Robbery charges this morning at the Spring Garden Rd court house.
There were no physical injuries to any employees at the business.
