Man Arrested After Threatening Teacher

Halifax Regional Police have arrested a man after a weapons call at the International Language Institute located at 1190 Barrington Street in Halifax.
 
At 9:05 a.m., police received a call that a male student made threatening comments to a female teacher and displayed a knife. The woman was not physically injured and the man left the building.
 
Officers arrested the 44-year-old man at 10:30 a.m. without incident after he returned to his residence. This matter remains under investigation and no charges have been laid.
