Man arrested after threatening woman with mace in Halifax

At approximately 7 pm, police responded to a residence at the 3000 block of Olivet Street in Halifax to the report that a man had threatened a female at this location with a can of mace.

The 21 year old man was arrested in the 3600 block of Joseph Howe Drive a short time later and will be attending court this morning to face threats, numerous weapons related charges, as well as breach of court ordered conditions.

The parties were known to each other and there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
