On 20140806 at 2:28am, HRP officers responded to an assault call on the Halifax Boardwalk adjacent to the 1600 block of Lower Water Street.

Officers located a 54 male with serious facial, but non-life threatening injuries and the he was transported to the QE Hospital for treatment. Four males, all in their early 20’s, believed to be involved in the assault were located a short distance away and were taken into custody. The matter is still under investigation with charges anticipated.
