Man Assaulted With Bear Spray After Home Invasion

At 11:30 p.m. 7 March, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter in progress, in the 200 block of Windmill Road Dartmouth.   Two masked suspects was armed with bear spray forced their way into an apartment and assaulted the resident.  The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.  The victim, a 50 year old male, was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  Multiple officers responded and searched the area but did not locate the suspects.  There is no suspect information at this time.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation which is in the early stages.
