Assault with a weapon
2:15 am   3300 Block of Federal Ave, Halifax

Police responded to the 3300 Block of Federal Ave in relation to a call
of a male walking around in the middle of the street with a stab wound.
Police located a 36 year old male suffering from 4 stab wounds and a
broken shoulder. The victim was transported to the QEII by ambulance.
The victim’s injuries are serious but not considered life
threatening.

The suspect and the victim are known to each other and both live in the
area where this occurred.

The suspect has not yet been arrested.
