Pizza driver robbed, tenant assaulted in building

At 23:14 hours a complaint was received from a pizza delivery driver who stated that he attended the 100 block of Pinecrest Drive for a delivery but no one  answered the door.  He made his way back to his vehicle to make a phone call and as he approached his vehicle he was surprised by three male with pocket size knives in their hands asking him to give them the food. He was also asked for his wallet. The three males left on foot towards Brule Street.  The suspects were wearing baggy clothes, jeans, ball caps and had bandanas over their faces. All three suspects are believed to be males and about 5'-9" to 6'-0" tall.  This matter is still under investigation.

At 00:02 hours Security for the apartment complex on Churchill Court, Dartmouth, called police to report that one of their tenants had just been assaulted.  The victim was walking down the staircase of the building and  was on the landing between the 5th and 6th floor he was approached by a male, 6 feet tall, 185 lBs, 20-25 years old wearing a black Sean John sweater, thick gold chain, black jeans.

The male grabbed the victim's arm and pushed him up against the wall, pulled out a black handle steak-knife and demanded the victim's wallet.  The victim refused and the suspect swung at the victim slicing his shirt and on a second swing nicking his arm.  The victim returned a punch and the suspect dropped the knife and ran up the staircase towards the 8th floor.  This matter is still under investigation.
