Man Beaten Unconscious Outside Halifax Bar

At about 3 am members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to the Toothy Moose 1661 Argyle Street in Halifax. A male was located on the road in front of the business unconscious and totally unresponsive. It was learned that the male had been in an altercation  and had been punched by another male knocking him to the ground.The victim was rushed to the QE2 with life threatening injuries. Members of the Forensic Identification Section and Major Crime were called to continue the investigation. The 23 year old male remains in hospital.
